What is the Fan2Fan Alliance?
Fan2Fan Alliance (F2FA) is a group of independent NFL team fan sites who are working together in order to improve each member site by sharing information, ideas and cross-promotion.

Who is allowed to join?

Any fansite who meets our requirements and does not already have their team represented. To see which teams do not have a representative, look at the buttons without active links on the front page of F2FA.com.

What are the requirements to join F2FA?
Our requirements are simple. Each member of F2FA must:

Be fan-based. Commericial sites are not allowed in F2FA. Each F2FA member site is created, and operated by, a fan of the team it represents.

Have an active message board. F2FA sites promote one another all week leading up to the game. This allows fans from one site to interact with fans from another which increases traffic for both.

Have a dedicated url. Dedicated urls (web addresses) make a site’s location easier to find and remember.

Have a link to the F2FA.com site and a weekly link to any opponent member’s site. This allows us to promote each other and F2FA as a whole. You can see how this is done by visiting any member site.

What does each F2FA member receive?

Knowledge, ideas and increased traffic. Though our private forum, we share information about the many issues webmasters face. We get ideas from each other. We discuss ways to increase our traffic and make our sites better. When a webmaster has a problem, there is usually another member who has dealt with this issue before and is happy to share the knowledge.

Who runs F2FA?
It’s membership. Each member of F2FA has an equal say in how things are done. Members elect a Coordinator each year to oversee the day-to-day operations of the alliance. A policy has been created which clearly defines how F2FA operates and is available upon request.

How will being a F2FA Member change my site’s design?
Unlike many site networks, F2FA won’t ask you to place a large banner at the top of your site. The only thing needed is a custom 120 x 60 ad button to be placed on the front page which links to F2FA.com. To see a sample of that, visit any member site. Other than that, each member decides how they wish to do their weekly promotion to a member opponent.

How much time will being a member of F2FA take?
We understand maintaining a top site takes a lot of time. F2FA Members spend as little or as much time as they wish participating in our forum. Recruitment is usually done between February and August (offseason) when things are slower. No one is required to do anything outside promoting member opponents during the regular season once the F2FA button is in place.

What does F2FA Membership cost?
There are no fee associated with being a member of F2FA.

How do I join?
Send an e-mail to admin@f2fa.com. Be sure to leave your site’s url and your e-mail address. F2FA members will visit and evaluate your site. If your site meets all requirements, is voted on and is approved by 2/3 or more of the current membership, you become a member.
