A POSITION BY POSITION BREAKDOWN OF THE AFC EAST

(Excerpt: “Obviously, Brady is still the class of the division.  However, depth may be a concern.  Depth is not, however, a concern with the Dolphins, as they enter into camp with the best depth in the division and a rising star in Henne (12 tds, 14 ints, 60% cp, 75 .2 QB rating).  Sanchez, (12 tds, 20 ints, 53.8% cp,   63 QB rating) gets more hype but has yet to live up to it consistently.”)

Bills Begin Rebuilding Process

April 27, 2010 By: Billsdaily Category: Buffalo Bills Comments Off

Many fans were upset that the Bills went with a luxury pick with the ninth overall pick in the draft by taking running back C.J. Spiller. I think it just proved the point that the team is in full rebuilding mode. Buddy Nix pretty much confirmed it after the draft saying this draft was just a first step in the process. More

Draft Represents New Beginning

The 2010 draft will be interesting to watch from a Bills perspective for the fact that there is a new regime. Most fans still don’t know what to think of the duo of Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey but these are the men at the controls and they will look to take the players that will help the Bills build a winner from the ground up. They won’t admit it is a full fledge rebuilding project but it is and rebuilding starts with the draft. More!

AFC East Free Agency Moves and Grades

(David Grotefend) The Bloodfest is over, the initial surge as the most coveted free agents are courted by their prospective new employers. Now teams glean over the remaining talent pool, adding an element here or there, but sort of in a holding ‘wait and see’ mode. Of course, as a Dolphin fan I wanted to grade them all ‘F’s, but that wouldn’t be true or fair.

Bills vs. Falcons Game Preview

This is a battle of two teams that are out of the playoff chase but it could be an intriguing game for Bills fans. It could be the NFL debut of recently signed QB Brian Brohm. Fans have been clamoring for him since they plucked him from the Packers practice squad and now they may get their wish because of injuries to Ryan Fitzpatrick and Trent Edwards. The Falcons have had a disappointing season and are working hard to finish above .500 for the second year in a row for the first time in team history.

A Christmas Carol

December 16, 2009 By: Billsdaily Category: Buffalo Bills Comments Off

A cold and snowy Christmas Eve in Orchard Park. The wind howls as the lake effect snow forms drifts all around One Bills Drive. Late in the afternoon with the day’s short sunlight already retied for the day, two poor souls labor away in the executive offices.

Bills Wilt In Fourth Quarter Again

November 22, 2009 By: Billsdaily Category: Buffalo Bills Comments Off

Ryan Fitzpatrick got his first career start that wasn’t because of an injury and threw the ball well after a shaky start. His 98 yard bomb to Owens for a score was a perfect throw and perfect call on the audible. He didn’t start off so well as he misfired on his first pass and his second one was picked off. He threw at least three other near picks but for the most part was accurate with his passing. He did take too long to snap the ball just before halftime that almost cost the Bills a field goal. He did throw for 297 yards in the game which we haven’t seen in some time by any QB on this team. Grade B+: Showed a gun slinger mentality that has been missing.
